Hello

Are you suffering from anxiety or depression? Do you experience feelings of emptiness and lack meaningful connection in your life? Do you feel invalidated or misunderstood? Do you have a tendency toward impulsivity and engage in self-destructive behaviors? Are you suffering from a past trauma that is getting in the way? I want to help.

My therapeutic style is empathic and collaborative, using a strengths-based, client-centered approach. I am trained in the most sophisticated and up-to-date treatments proven to be effective. I have advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Exposure-response Prevention (ERP), and Compassion-focused Therapy (CFT). Let's build a life worth living.

My Story

I am passionate about improving mental health in the lives of the children, adolescents, and adults that I treat. I specialize in caring for those with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and behavioral issues. I use the latest proven techniques to address anger management, substance abuse, emotion dysregulation, overcontrol, relationship issues, trauma, and self-harm. I also provide parent guidance by using behavioral parent training to help families address children’s internalizing and externalizing behaviors.

I earned my PhD in Psychology. For my master’s in Psychology at Harvard, I focused my studies on the pathogenesis of anxiety and the neuroscience underlying obsessive-compulsive disorder. I am proud to have studied evidence-based treatments for anxiety under Harvard Medical School’s Dr. Sperling, Program Director of the McLean Anxiety Mastery Program at McLean Hospital. I earned a master’s in Social Work at Columbia, where my studies centered around evidence-based treatments for trauma and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I completed internships at Anxiety Institute and a DBT internship with Suffolk DBT, where I provided individual psychotherapy and co-facilitated DBT skills training groups. I practiced at the Wilkins Center in Greenwich, CT. I also hold an M.B.A. from Northwestern University and have helped countless individuals meet their life goals.

I live in Greenwich, Connecticut, with my husband, four boys, and two dogs. I am a member of the American Psychological Association, National Association of Social Workers, and American College of Lifestyle Medicine. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Connecticut, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts, and a Licensed Master Social Worker in NY.  I offer in-person psychotherapy at the Greenwich office and remotely.
